About the Artist
Catherine Venable had her formal education at VCU and continued her studies with a Masters of Fine Arts at MSU in Bozeman, Montana.
Living in the Carillon area for years, she remembers when Arts In The Park began and the excitement it brought to the community. Having started the Posters for the Gloucester Daffodil Festival and Mathews Market Days, it was easy for her to envision prints to commemorate Arts in The Park.
These prints capture this event the Carillon neighborhood hosts, depicting the splendid celebration of Arts & Crafts that bring people together from all states.
