RAIN OR SHINE
Arts in the Park is an outdoor event and while we’re hopeful the weather is beautiful, the event will take place rain or shine.
FREE PARKING & SHUTTLE
Parking in the neighborhood surrounding of the Carillon is very limited with homeowner parking and many streets leading into the event site closed off. There is a FREE shuttle service and parking in the overflow lot on Freeman Rd. near Douglasdale Rd. across from City Stadium. The shuttle drop off/pick up is just across the street from the art show. Buses run approximately every 30 minutes.
HANDICAP PARKING
Handicap parking is available in a lot by the Carillon. It is off Park Drive, before Dogwood Dell along the unnamed road leading to the Carillon. There will be traffic police at the entrance of the Carillon tower that will allow properly identified vehicles through and direct you to Handicap parking area.
RESTROOMS
There are portable restrooms and hand washing stations available at the show.
PETS
For the safety and comfort of all our artists and guests, we recommend leaving your pets (other than service animals) at home; the show is noisy, crowded, and not all artists will welcome pets in their booths. If you choose to bring your pets against this recommendation, you are responsible for their safety and the safety of others at the show.
INFORMATION BOOTH
There will be an Information Booth along Rugby Road.
EMERGENCY SERVICES
The Richmond Volunteer Rescue Squad will be located along Pump House Drive during show hours.
